A typical day in my classroom is very busy and productive.
Students love to learn and are eager to do hands-on activities in the classroom and the laboratory setting. "Opportunity is often missed because it is disguised as hard work."
My students are from a tight-knit, rural community who love to show their school spirit and attend many activities provided by our school. We have small classes, and students get along well with each other. Our school shows pride through the hallways and has good school spirit.
My Project
Materials being requested include three auto darkening helmets for welding and a new pair of gloves. We frequently weld in agricultural classes, not only in agriculture mechanics but also spend several weeks of the semester in freshman and sophomore level agriculture classes welding as well. With that being said, we have not purchased new sets of welding helmets in over 15 years! Ours are slowly breaking down and deemed inoperable, and class sizes are steadily growing each year.
