Welcoming Students Back With Their Eyes and Ears!

Help me give my students a more welcoming environment with some cozy rugs to work and read on, as well as headphones so they can listen to text to speech or educational videos.

My Students

My 5th grade students are excited to learn and grow from every experience they are presented with. They are enthusiastic writers who use their personal experiences to color their creative stories. They are intrigued by science and technology, and they have a drive to understand the diverse world around them.

My students’ brains are open to all possibilities that are presented to them, and they make the most of each learning opportunity.

They are highly motivated to succeed each and every day and they crave to stretch their brains with creative challenges.

My Project

Adding two rugs to our room will help students feel more at home in our classroom. This will give them a warm place to read and collaborative areas to work on that will help reduce their stress from COVID-19. My goal is to help them reconnect with their peers and create a stronger sense of community at school.

My students are also in need of headphones so they can use text to speech and listen to educational and leveled programs in order to address the gaps due to the pandemic.

This will help support the students' learning and growing minds this year in particular.
