This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our tigers are very special and deserve a welcoming environment! School is where students spend most of their day and they deserve to feel safe and welcomed. There have been many incidents in school systems that have caused our students to feel anxious and as a result, they have difficulty coming to school in the mornings. These items will help create a welcoming environment for our students. We will have welcoming banners, positive affirmation activities during recess, a laminator to laminate posters so they last longer, and positive affirmations in Spanish to also create an inclusive environment on our campus.
