My Project

Parent and stakeholder collaboration is crucial to ensuring students' success. Diverse learners often have many stakeholders involved to guarantee they are receiving the supports required to reach their goals. IEP and evaluation meetings can be overwhelming for families. My goal is to create a warm and inclusive atmosphere where every student and family feels valued and empowered to be advocates for their education. We need chairs, a microwave, and bookshelves.

I aim to foster a welcoming and accessible environment where my students' curiosity and love of learning can grow as well as a space where I can facilitate meetings with students, families, and stakeholders.

This space will also serve as a hub for special education case managers to engage in professional development centered around high quality IEP goal writing and authentic compliance. Additionally, teachers can utilize the space for team meetings, data analysis, and collaborative planning, which will resulted in more targeted and effective instruction for diverse learners.
