Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Kindergarten students love coming to school and working on various activities. At this time of the year, they want to help more and be more independent. Having Flexible Rolling Storage units for their material and Rolling bookcases for their books will help my students be more organized.

Having everything in its place ready for my students will make the room more welcoming.

We have various manipulatives that are in closets due to limited space in the classroom. This keeps me from putting many things out for them to choose. I have various manipulatives for Math and Science that they can use but I have no space for them to be out and still have a safe and welcoming environment. Having clear storage boxes with various activities to choose from will encourage my students to be more creative and not select the same things over and over. Also, it will help my students take pride in putting away things since it will be easy for them to do.

Having a Stand-Up Magnetic Design Center will encourage my students to explore with magnets, math, and literacy. This magnetic design center has so many uses and whatever they use with it can be stored in the storage units.
