My Project

A comforting classroom environment for my students where they can engage in learning within a calm and safe environment, utilizing multiple pieces of sensory equipment and at the same time engage in their academics. Where they can develop a growth mindset; that is, they believe that they can achieve. A place of empathy, care, collaboration, and respect, essential qualities that facilitate positive academic and behavioral student outcomes.

A classroom that looks and sounds like a cozy place as soon as you walk through the door.A room to start the new school year by building trusting relationships with my students by having a welcoming environment that allows for academic gains with the assistance of coping tools to utilize in the classroom.
