Be the inspiration for children to write! My students will have fun and be engaged in writing with gel writing boards. Many 5 and 6 year olds are learning how to use sounds to make words and write sentences. Gel writing boards can inspire children to have fun while writing.
I teach a group of fun, amazing and creative 5 and 6 year old Kinder Kids.
They love learning! They have said that their favorite time of our day is learning time. During class whole group time, I try to vary methods and get my students excited to write. When my students practice, they are most at ease with materials that are forgiving and easy to use. Some 5 and 6 year olds can get consumed with fear of making mistakes. I remind them that it is through these mistakes that we learn. My students are engaging and love new and different ways to show what they know. My students attend a public school in Arizona.
My Project
A class set of gel writing boards and the stylus pens will provide a new medium to give my students the challenge to try to do their best in writing. Writing for a 5 or 6 year old can be intimidating. These gel boards are non-threatening, the size is easy to use and they erase easily for all of those little "learning" ways (mistakes). When first learning how to write letters, build words and write sentences, all children need a little forgiveness! My students will be invigorated in writing with these boards. A class set of gel boards will provide a way to develop fine motor skills, drawing, writing and spelling. My students will be able to practice letters, number writing, drawing shapes, writing sight words and writing sentences. My students can gain confidence in writing without fear of mistakes. A class set of gel boards can inspire and ignite our youngest writers to write.
Writing is a critical part of any Kindergarten child's learning.
It's not just play and naps anymore in Kindergarten. Writing is a core subject that all students need in our world today. It can be fun and easily approached with these gel boards.
