Each year we are able to hatch chicks in the classroom. The students get very excited about this.
My students would love to provide an interactive learning environment for when the chicks finally hatch!
They want them to feel at home!
We will be doing a lot of research on chickens and life cycles. This will also include hands-on experiments and research of other animals.
Being able to provide an exciting learning environment for my students gets them to be more actively involved. It was actually there idea to see if we could transform the room into a farm! All of these items will be used to decorate the farm and students will be able to finish this unit with an animal key chain to take home!
