Welcome to the Eagle's Nest! Soaring High With Pride!

Help me give my students bright and welcoming motivational posters, Kleenex, post-it notes, and pencils to welcome them to school for the 2023-24 school year!

My Project

Our students are resilient, loving, hardworking, and are eager to come to school every day! Our community is a small tight-knit community where everyone knows everyone. Our students enjoy coming to school each day because they know we are a community and school family. We support each other, keep each other encouraged, and work hard to close the gaps that our students may have.

This school year we are welcoming a lot of new faces to our school including a new Principal, Assistant Principal, Social Worker, and 11 new teachers (2 kindergarten, 2 first grade teachers, and 2nd-grade teacher, and 1 4th-grade teacher, along with 2 instructional coaches, music, art, PE).

With 12/17 new teachers, I want to support the incoming staff with establishing the school community by providing motivational and inspirational posters that we can use to decorate the school. It is important for students and families to feel welcomed on the very first day! What better way to create a welcoming environment than with bright, vibrant, and beautiful posters to use to decorate the hallway bulletin boards throughout our school?

We also need Kleenex to help combat the colds and runny noses at the start of the school year. We want to do our part to ensure that students are able to stay well and in school each day. When students feel supported, academically they thrive and rise to achieve and excel! Lastly, I need post-it notes for a variety of in class learning opportunities. Students use them to label items, write and spell words to use in their daily class work, as well as reminders to send home.

I am excited to see this project come to life because our students will truly feel welcomed and apart of the Eagles Nest!
