This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am starting a new adventure in robotics with our eighth-grade students next year. Our classroom is down a ramp in the far back corner of the school building and is often called "the dungeon." Since that's what it is called, I want to turn that back corner into the coolest Dungeon Classroom ever!

I want my students to have a fantastic classroom like no other, one that will be both welcoming and conducive to learning.

With the popularity of fantasy video games and movies, I think this will be an excellent environment for these teens.

Half of the cost of my project is dedicated to wall covering. This old classroom has more coats of paint than one can imagine! To create our "dungeon" wall, we ask for bulletin board paper that looks like stones. The remainder is for decorative items (lamps, decor, dragons) to create the ambiance of the "dungeon."
