This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first grade students are amazing. They enjoy being hard workers and kind to one another. However, they do need some more motivation to keep learning those great life skills throughout the days and weeks of the school year.

The desk pet store with the animal and food erasers will provide great motivation for my students.

Hard work and positive communication are essential skills to have in life. I want to use the desk pet store to motivate my students to acquire these great skills.

I plan on scaffolding these skills to build them up throughout the year. The desk pet store will be a great starting motivation.
