Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The bare necessities are not always easy to get. But materials in our classroom are so important for things to go as planned. I know my students love coming to school. Our mornings are focused on SEL, and we need blank journals, markers, construction paper to be able to check in. Feeling welcomed and loved is important!
My young learners need tools that can help them express themselves, and through art they can see the beauty in themselves.
They need markers, glue, color construction paper, and dot paint. Once my little artists create, they will display and share their artwork. The stars, tape, and border trim will help make a beautiful bulletin board. I need to be sensitive to their needs. These materials are important. Your kindness makes learning fun, but most important it provides the basics.
