My Students
Our school houses over twelve hundred students in kindergarten through fifth grade. My class consists of students with very diverse educational needs. I have students who speak English as a Second Language and students who read anywhere from a kindergarten to a third-grade level.
My Project
My classroom needs a makeover! Since vacating my classroom in March 2020 due to the pandemic, my room became less attractive. Decorations on bulletin boards were left to fade away while we were left to learn and teach at home.
I want to make this year the best year ever!
I look forward to welcoming the students back to the building with bright and colorful decorations, as well as signs to motivate the students to be the best they can be!
I've included new literature in my project to promote kindness and empathy in my class. It's important to welcome all students to a loving learning environment, regardless of our differences.
