Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach at a high needs school, and many students are entering kindergarten as their first school experience. I love to teach this young age of students who are eager and excited about what they will learn.

By supporting this project, you are providing my classroom and students with the materials they need in order to start the year successfully.

I have worked intentionally to make sure that all supplies my classroom receives are used in a way that supports student learning. For instance, I use golf pencils to teach proper pencil grip to young students, and Play-Doh as a multi sensory tool to help them learn numbers and letter names and sounds. The paddles will be used as "answer" paddles for taking turns and other tasks.

Your donation truly makes a difference in the lives of young students, many whose families cannot afford these types of supplies. I appreciate your consideration and support of this project. Thank you!
