My Students

We are a part of a low-income/high poverty school, and are faced with many challenges both in and out of school. We will hopefully be returning to school after a very unprecedented year in 2019-2020. I want to make sure that my students will all have enough supplies to enable social distancing as best as possible.

Students coming into first grade this year are coming from a unique experience from kindergarten.

I want to try to make their transition into a new grade as seamless as possible.

My goal is to make sure that each student has their own resources, and all opportunities available to them.

My Project

I am really excited to get back to the classroom. I want my students to have all the resources possible to make this year successful. In order to do our best to stay as socially distant as possible, my students need back to school supplies that they don't have to share. I want to make sure that they have their own writing utensils, dry erase boards, folders, notebooks, as well as math manipulatives to make sure they can receive the best education possible. My students had a difficult experience in kindergarten, due to distance learning, and I want them to have the best transition into first grade as possible!
