My classroom is made up of 16 second graders that all come from different backgrounds. Our school is a low income/ high poverty school. We work very hard each day trying to provide our students with opportunities to help close the achievement gap, but without the proper supplies or technology our efforts often can fall short. My students looped with me from first grade to second grade, and this year we are really working on filling our classroom with supplies that will help us technologically, spatially, and academically to help spark our interest in learning.

About my class
