Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students and I will spend a lot of our time sitting at our carpet area during read aloud and whole group instruction. Having a nice chair for my students and I to sit while doing these activities will promote more interaction between us.

This project is to request a set of chairs that will be used during instruction and in a calming corner setting.

Students will have access to this chair when they share with others in whole group area. Whether it is to share about what they learned or about their journal writing, students will be able to be spotlighted in this chair. The chair will also be used as a place where my students can take a break if needed. My students will be so excited to have these chairs in our classroom!
