My Project
In the world of teenagers, moving to a new school where they do not know anyone is close to the top of their "list of terrible things". One thing the library would like to do to help them feel welcome and wanted here at our school is to give them a free school t-shirt on their first day at our campus. I intend to include the t-shirt in a "Welcome to Our Campus" Care Kit which will include a number of items every new student needs.
In this high-stress time for students, it is my hope that this small gesture will help these new students feel welcome and wanted.
To make these t-shirts, we will need iron-on transfers for printing our school logo and mascot, blank t-shirts, an inkjet printer, and ink. I can't wait to begin welcoming our new students and helping them feel they belong with these school shirts! Thanks for considering my project!
