This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Welcoming students back to school each year is so exciting!

This year, I can't wait to give my students new books and supplies to use for the upcoming year.

During our ongoing novel studies, students are asked to create a variety of hands-on projects. These could be anything from posters to dioramas. Having access to a variety of art supplies (markers, pencils, rulers, etc.) gives my students the ability to be as creative as possible.

I also love giving my library a refresh each year so my students have something to look forward to. Looping with my students means they've had a good look through my library over the past year, so I am very excited to give them the opportunity to look forward to reading new books this year!
