We are a small school that has an enrollment under 200 students, with one enthusiastic second grade class. In our school, our students are thoughtful, practice inclusion, creative and they are very curious. My students thrive on hands on activities through art projects or using manipulatives to enhance their understanding and learning. They come to school every day with a positive attitude and ready to take on the day. It is a joy to be an integral part of their learning experience.
My Project
Classroom supplies to provide a safe and nurturing environment for my students, especially after this challenging year with COVID. Your generosity is needed to create a cohesive welcoming environment with the needed classroom supplies to nurture creativity, to strengthen connections to understand, and above all learn!
Many of our families have struggled during this time and these basic supplies would alleviate some of the back to school stress, while ensuring I have the tools to teach my students to create, to learn, and to stay curious.
The products I've selected are needed to organize their understanding and learning, to provide creative options for their art projects, and to give them the materials to explore their ideas in a hands on approach. This multi pronged approach has shown very positive results with my kids, and we've been able to celebrate these successes through their achievements.
