Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are beautiful! We are a high poverty, English Learner school. This year we are putting a lot of money and energy into our needy population. We have hired 4 intervention teachers. We have solicited retired master teachers to mentor our new and veteran teachers. Many people have tried to bolster achievement at our cute little school. My friend Lilia and I are going to give it a go. We believe in our students and graciously ask for your support

My Project

I am brand new to our school. We want to freshen up our walls with these bright and inspirational classroom environment supplies. I know they will make everyone feel motivated to learn. My students come from extreme poverty, often times they live on the streets with their moms and don't have a special place. I hope that they can call my classroom home. The supplies I selected all bring a vibrant feel to our classroom. I'm excited to decorate our bulletin boards for them and know their families will also feel welcome when they come to see our beautiful classroom.
