Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students' families can not afford to have basics each school year, such as composition books. Furthermore, I am working to provide flexible seating (colorful stocking stools) and an inviting classroom environment (bulletin board cutouts, borders, name tags, name plates) this school year for all.

Having classroom essentials and a warm classroom is important because it's hard to learn when basic needs are not met.

Having classroom supplies and a warm inviting classroom allows my students to feel prepared, engaged, and ready to learn. I pride myself on a classroom where my students know that they are special and their needs heard.
