My Students

As a Special Education teacher, my favorite part is that I get to see the side of my students that no one else gets to see. My students may struggle with the traditional way of learning, but they shine in so many other ways.

When limits are put on my students or directions are given that they don't like, they will, at first, fight them, but then we work on how we can use that "fight" spirit to conquer the challenge in front of us.

My Project

As a special education teacher, I have an amazing opportunity to support students in all areas and needs that they have. This project will be able to help me better support them in their classrooms as well as teaching them important social and life skills. Many students are in need of extra supports when it comes to computers, keeping their hands busy as well as tools to help them develop social skills.

Your donation will provide my students with tools to help overcome these gaps.

Your donations to our school will allow our students to be able to take the sensory breaks that they need in order to regulate their bodies, spirits, and minds throughout the school day. In and out of the classroom.

They will be able to use these tools as supports as well as a great surprise that even when they were away from school, people cared enough for them to support their needs. This is the greatest gift that can be given at any time. The gift of acceptance and love!
