This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

They are very humble individuals! They love to read, complete Eureka Math, and Smarty Ants games! Those games are interventions that assist in reading! We now have a Science Curriculum, and I want them to have as much fun as possible while learning STEAM related activities! They are very eager to learn new things, and love the idea of a Science-enriched environment! I can’t wait to see the smiles on their faces, and the perseverance in completing their future Science assignments!

My Project

Lab coats, goggles, and a microscope are scientific items that will engage students in learning, and give them a feel of assimilation inside of the classroom when it comes to the clothing and safety precautions of a scientist! When pursuing a degree in the education field, I was always taught that learning should be fun and engaging! If my students are able to attain this scientific wear, I know that academic achievement will be maximized, as well as a development of self-efficacy inside of the classroom! As I stated earlier, a feeling of assimilation will be gained from the items!
