Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am currently in the process of expanding our fitness and wellness program by incorporating an all-girls weight class into our school. We need the proper weight equipment in our facilities to allow the success of the program. The specific items I am requesting, such as dumbbells and barbells plates, will serve as invaluable resources for students' physical development and overall well-being.
My goal is to enhance our young female athletes and students by making them comfortable being in a weightroom/fitness center.

By integrating weight equipment into our curriculum, I aim to provide our students with hands-on opportunities to enhance their physical fitness, develop proper technique, and cultivate a deeper understanding of health and wellness principles. Through guided instruction and supervised workouts, my students will not only strengthen their bodies but also sharpen their discipline, focus, and self-confidence.
