My Project

Weighted pillows offer a practical and discreet solution for supporting students in the classroom. Their portability and ease of use make them ideal for everyday learning environments—students can independently place them on their laps, shoulders, or backs during instruction or transitions. This gentle, grounding pressure promotes calm, reduces behavioral disruptions, and fosters greater engagement in academic activities.

By integrating weighted pillows into our classroom, we provide students with a proactive tool for self-regulation—helping them feel safe, supported, and emotionally balanced.

These resources are part of a broader commitment to creating a multi-sensory, inclusive learning environment. When students are regulated and secure, their brains are more receptive to learning, problem-solving, and meaningful social interaction.
