Weighted Stuffed Animals Help Us Feel Safe Over the Break

Help me give my students something to hold on to with weighted stuffed animals.

My Project

We look to make sure our students are cared for in and out of school. Each year around the December break, we know that many of our students do not get the same daily routine they are used to during the school day. They do not get the related services they have daily in school. We want to make sure that our students will be able to practice some of the routines we do each day in school. This includes work with weighted vests and stuffed animals.

By having the pressure applied to their arms and using these weighted tools, they are able to build their ability to carry, hold and use fine motor skills.

We would love to be able to help parents by supplying them some of what we have and use in the school building at home during the December season break. Please help support us by helping support our students and their families with these resources.
