Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students I work with are amazing. Some students have sensory needs that need a little bit of accommodations. As a teacher, I work to ensure all students are given the tools to succeed.

This project aims to help students who need sensory input in the form of a weighted item on their laps - (a weighted "dog") aka weighted lap blanket.

This compression helps to ease students and allow them to attend to learning.

Other students need different inputs. They like to continuously move. The seat bands allow for movement without disrupting the class. Thank you for considering!
