My Project
Our preschool students enjoy reading. Our goal is to build good habits of regularly reading for joy. If gifted these magazines, our students would have the thrill of getting an interesting magazine each week to take home and explore. Research shows that reading at the Pre-K level is an important developmental step for young readers to build a love for books as they grow.
Preschoolers love receiving things and it is exciting to get a magazine every week to read.
The Scholastic “Let’s Find Out” magazine series is full of fun facts, interesting short stories, pictures, and games that make learning fun and encourage reading for preschoolers.
As a teacher, I am trying to always provide the best learning environment for my students. I make do with the tools I am given. Being creative and resourceful is part of the basics of being a teacher, but that can only go so far. Sometimes I need tangible items to provide the best education possible. I look forward to giving this weekly magazine to students and families. They may begin to make reading this exciting magazine a habit each week. Please help me make my hopes a reality.
