Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The Child Development students will host a Week of the Young Child (WOYC) event in April. WOYC is sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children - it celebrates young children and everyone involved in their care/education.
I am requesting five canopy tents for activity booths.
Each booth will represent a WOYC theme: Music, Tasty Treats, Working Together, Art, and Family Fun. My students enjoy working with their younger peers. This event provides an opportunity for them to further develop their leadership, teambuilding, and critical thinking skills.
