This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me provide flexible seating through the use of wobble stools throughout my classroom. These stools will allow students to move in a way that improves learning.
Children need to move while learning and using wobble chairs will allow students to focus on instruction while getting the wiggles out.
Also, the stools are height appropriate, so they will be able to touch the floor unlike the available seating at my campus.
My school can only provide the basics but, as educators, we know that our inner-city students need more than the basics. My hope is that by having an environment that lets students move while learning, it will help with the instruction, increase learning, and close academic gaps.
