We'd Love to Infuse 3D Printing Into Our Curricula!

My Students

I serve a diverse student body in terms of ethnicity and income. We are a rural public school district serving junior and senior high school students.

Our students come to class excited to learn, and I am seeking to provide them with opportunities to be competitive in the 21st Century!

As the new district technology coordinator, I am trying to tap into this natural positive spirit by building a set of resources students can access!

My Project

Our students would love these 3D printing supplies so they can experience CAD and see their creations come to life! Throughout COVID, they have sought to help others by creating masks and other supplies. They also would love to create prosthetics as they've seen others do.

We'd use these printers to augment their current curricula to add more relevance and complexity, for example with printing COVID masks and prosthetic limbs to those in need!

This would be our district's first step towards creating a makerspace so students can gain valuable 21st century skills. Please help if you can!
