This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Ninth grade English Language Arts students are reading studying Homer's Odyssey. Students are examining the text through both historic and artistic lenses. For students' final project they are being asked to create a visual representation of one of the Odyssey's major themes. Many students have been coming to the library's makerspace and have been asking for access to a loom.
I want to foster my students' creativity and love of learning by providing them with their most asked item.
