My Project

Please help give my students books, manipulatives, and games to tell and create stories of their own. Narrative language is so crucial to developing future literacy skills. My students love engaging stories that captivate their interests. Even some of my students who have limited verbal skills can retell stories when they have items to act out characters, dialogue, problems, and actions.

These manipulatives and "characters" will also help my students tell their own stories from their imagination.

Young learners learn narrative skills through play. Even games with rules help students tell an expository story of events and steps. Help my students retell stories from books and also create their own with this project.
