My Project

Weaving is incredibly important for students. Many of them find calmness in the repetition, have their sensory needs fulfilled with the textures of the yarn, learn life and problem-solving skills (knots and tangles), and practice those fine motor skills that will help them in other life activities. Glazing is an amazing opportunity for students to learn more about the science behind ceramics, and it allows them to explore the functional uses of everyday art pieces.

Unfortunately, the supplies needed for these activities are being depleted much faster than I am able to replenish them with my budget.
