My Students

Our Kindergarten students have a great love for learning! They are a diverse group of students, who truly are accepting and kind. They thrive when exploring, and collaborating together. They are a group of students who truly work together to make a team. They support each other. They are cheerleaders for success, and encourage their fellow classmates when they need a boost!

Our school is the center of the community.

We are a Title I district located in a beautiful, rural area. We are very tight knit community; many of the residents have lived here over multiple generations. Our school is the center of the community.

My Project

All students wonder about the weather! By giving my students visuals, and hands on materials, it will help them to use another modality to peak their scientific minds! I selected posters to give my students visuals as we discuss the charactersitics of weather. Weather Bingo will be an interactive activity in which weather vocabulary will be reinforced. The thermometers will give an opportunity to use a tool that measures the temperature. Wally the Weather Dog will help my students learn what to wear for the varying weather conditions. The tornado in a bottle will visually help students understand how tornados work.

Please help transform my students from weather wonderers to weather investigators!

These materials will help students engage in their learning and set them up for success! Thank you for supporting my students, and cultivating a love for science.
