This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a class of wonderfully, amazing little 5 and 6 year old students. COVID-19 has impacted their way of learning tremendously. Gone our the days of these eager little guys running through the kinder gates to hug their friends and teacher. Now, they eagerly log onto Zoom with smiles and laughter as they change with the times. They are quick to raise their hands, share a thumbs up or an answer on-line. As their teacher I want to continue to meet the demands of students impacted by distance learning which will be both this year and next year's group of kinders.

My Project

We Zoom in our House and We Zoom with our Mouse---we can learn here, we can learn there, we can learn anywhere!! With your help, I would love to continue providing my students with fun-engaging visuals through our new on-line classroom. I am seeking a math pocket chart to help me focus on number sense with engaging questioning.

A pencil and imagination can create a world of great stories.

I would like to model great writing with the use of a magnetic lined paper for my students to see and participate as we build sentences and stories together. I want to prepare my kinders to start their year off with a strong foundation in writing. But how do I do that from a far? This magnetic paper will allow me to write on large visible paper with the use of student help as we build our stories and sentences together.
