Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Last year our district implemented a new reading program called CKLA (Core Knowledge Language Arts). On a preschool level, I am looking for more hands on activities and also books to go along with the themes throughout this program. I instantly knew that I just didn't have the resources that I needed to cover each topic the way that I would like to. As always, I went to my favorite resource, the Lakeshore catalog, and found exactly what I was looking for. Discovering these theme boxes about letters and numbers and seeing the books that come along with it make for a perfect combination. This is exactly what our preschool classroom needs.
