Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are filled with excitement and curiosity. They want to know the why and how about everything. I want to continue that interest and focus it on something that will help them understand the world a little bit better. The science resources and tools will help my young scientists learn about climate change, weather, and the water cycle. Providing hands-on materials such as the sand and water table, vivid weather posters, and literature will help my students have a greater understanding of how the weather has an impact on our everyday lives. My children will learn how the seasons change through the literature and they will discuss and learn how to dress appropriately for the different types of weather. My goal is for my students to learn and understand how weather changes and how our lives are impacted by these seasonal changes.
