Help me give my students playground balls, relay batons, paper towels, Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer, Kleenex, and Band-Aid bandages to help my students stay active, clean, and healthy.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are a small, culturally diverse school with students from Pre-K through fifth grade. My students come from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds and have diverse learning needs.
My students will be some of our future artists, engineers, scientists, mathematicians, authors, politicians, and teachers.
My students have a love of learning and are hungry for knowledge. They are energetic and inquisitive. They strive to be successful. My students love using technology and participating in hands-on learning activities. They also enjoy working with each other. Sometimes they work at their desks and other times they find a place on the carpet to spread out their materials to work with a partner or team.
My Project
Cold and Flu season are upon us! My students need to stay healthy so they can do their best!
Children cannot focus when they don't feel well and absent students miss out on important lessons and activities.
Our playground balls have definitely seen better days. New playground balls and relay batons will help my students stay active during both P.E. and recess. We will use the Clorox wipes to help keep our classroom tables clean. Kleenex and hand sanitizer will be used to keep our hands clean and prevent the spread of germs when we have colds or runny noses. Band-Aid bandages are important because, of course, accidents happen during P.E. and recess. We need paper towels because we do not get them stocked in our classrooms. Other than to dry our hands, we sometimes need them to clean up spilled milk or juice from breakfast or to clean up other messes made during Science or Art.
