Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

These books will help increase our classroom library along with books that have been on our classroom created wishlist. Our classroom strives to put books back into the hands of our students, and our students love to read!

The ELL materials we have at school are limited outside our school curricula, so these books will be vital to our students who speak only Spanish to help them expand their English vocabulary.

My students are eager to learn new language skills and use materials relative to their experiences during small group centers with each other.
