My Students

These students are first grade students located on Air Force base housing with a 100% military population. These students come from all over, and sometimes this is their 2nd or 3rd school in just the few years they've been in school. I want to provide a fun atmosphere for my students that makes them feel welcome and comfortable.

All students should feel safe and welcome in a classroom.

With the students that our school serves, I want to make sure I do just that.

My Project

My students need the Osmo genius kits to do more hands on technology learning. My first graders love to do hands on activities and use technology. Why not combine them both? With the Osmo kits students will be able to practice math, science, and language arts skills on their tablets and with hands on materials! They will just love seeing how what they move around on the table is mimicked on their tablets. We can also practice and be introduced to the world of coding with the coding kits.

With technology fields increasing every day It is my responsibility as their teacher to teach my students in all aspects and prepare them for the future.
