Help me give my students backpacks to carry their supplies outside so we can do a lot of outside learning! Also some diverse books for our classroom.

My Students

My students are an eager group of third-grade learners who are super excited to get back into the classroom after starting the year virtually. My students come from many different socio-economic backgrounds as well as many different ethnicities represented in our class

We started the year virtually but are getting ready to return 50/50.

The kids can't wait to meet each other and start learning in person once again!

My Project

I am looking to get drawstring backpacks for each of my students so they can easily carry their supplies outside to work. We have some amazing outside spaces at our school that we can work in to help us social distance but it would be easier for students if they had small backpacks to carry their supplies in.

I am also wanting some books with diverse characters to help represent all the students in our classroom.

It's super important that the kids see themselves in the books they are reading and that are in our library!
