Who would have thought when I said goodbye to each of my students on Friday, March 13th, it would be the last time I said goodbye for the year?
I have been in contact with each of my students on a daily basis whether by phone, text, or an online platform.
Some are having difficulties with technology as some Chromebooks are not working properly, and they could really benefit from workbooks and supplies.
All of my students come from low-income families and could use all the help they can get during this time.
My Project
These materials will keep my students learning. Online learning is not enough for some of my students. They enjoy writing and working on math skills using the paper and pencil method as well as working online. These materials and workbooks are similar to the way we would be learning if we were in school. I also feel that this is a great way to help parents become more involved in their child’s learning while at home. My students would love to have these materials so they can continue with their learning while at home.
