My students need headphones for math and reading time on iPads.

My Students

I work at a Title I school that has students from various socio-economic backgrounds. 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch daily due to the majority of students who need free breakfast and lunch.

I love my students because they try their hardest, no matter what is happening outside of school in their world.

My students love to read, write, and really love a good science project. Their imaginations are vivid and it is so refreshing to be in a classroom with them.

My Project

My students have the opportunity to have math, reading, and phonics on their iPads. These are used during workshop time. It would be greatly beneficial for my students to be able to hear the iPads.

My students don't have the chance to bring a lot of school supplies in to the classroom.

Headphones are a luxury item to them, and often don't get brought.

Being that these kids are young, phonics is incredibly important to their reading and writing success. Math and reading are crucial as well, and the headphones would be a great asset to their learning this year.
