We Want to Have Interactive Math Notebooks!

Help me give my students math notebooks. I used to teach science and due to their teacher leaving, I am taking over their math instruction.

My Students

My students come from diverse backgrounds all eager to learn. Each child brings their amazing stories and experiences that weave together to form our own unique classroom community.

We are a Title I school with 100% free lunch.

Our students live in an extremely under-served area. Our school is great in providing essentials such as backpacks, food for the weekend, and most essential school supplies.

I work hard to serve these young, brilliant individuals and it’s a privilege to learn from them and their experiences as well.

My Project

While many supplies are provided by our school, these notebooks are unavailable for us. I have been improvising with loose paper and I know how much more meaningful it would be for us to create cohesive math notebooks.

These notebooks will inspire the scholars to take pride in their note taking and work.

Interactive note booking is a fun way to engage students in math and is a great way to encourage encountability in elementary school. As we work through the standards, the concepts can be contained in one easily referenced book.
