Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I love my 3rd grade students because they are eager to learn and explore with me. My school year has been rewarding so far because of these students. They are showing me that children want to learn everything they can to be part of the bigger world. I want to teach my students everything they need to know to be successful people in their communities.
My classroom is full of learners that are ready to conquer the world!
I know now that I need to get them to express and communicate their thinking better. Also, I want my students to know that the world is big and full of all different kinds of people and things. Students always find it hard to understand that the world is bigger then their block.
My Project
Having markers, crayons and colored pencils will make a big difference in my students' learning because they will allow my students' to publish their work with the right materials. The materials we are asking for will help my students produce creative and meaningful work, such as, books, informational posters, dioramas and much more.
I want my students to be proud of their work!
That is why we need these awesome materials to help my students know they are important enough to have these simple materials, like construction paper in the classroom. I think that by having them use these different materials in their published work will give them confidence to present and be proud of what they design.
