Help me give my students classroom access to technology. Ipads are an easy resource that many of my students already know how to use. We have no hands-on technology like this in our classroom.
My students come from across the city and for most of them, this is their first formal school experience! We are an ethnically and socio-economically diverse class.

Our classroom has very little technology available to our students, and what is available is sometimes challenging for them to use. Tablets make their learning more accessible.
I am very excited to be expanding my access to STEM and other engineering activities. We have an engineering center this year, in addition to our math and science centers! I know they will be so excited to have a variety of resources!
My Project
My students currently have no access to hands-on technology in our classroom. These iPads will be invaluable for us to use every day. With the iPads we can listen to stories, create our own portfolios and more!
My ultimate goal with these tablets is to use them paired with the Osmo Genius kit.
Osmo is a wonderful, hands-on, interactive software kit that uses numbers, letters, pattern blocks and more to bring learning to life!
My own children use our Osmo kit at home and spend hours engaged with learning. Other teachers in our building rave about the Osmo kits and their students sometimes progress beyond their knowledge!
