We are lucky to still have a computer lab in our school. Our students use the computer lab for weekly activities, for state and district testing, and for special class projects. The computers in the lab are not new, but they do work. The headphones, however, do not!
We need better headphones so that all students working in the computer lab can hear without issues!
The current headphones are bulky and outdated. It is incredibly frustrating to get students seated and going on their learning, but then the hands start popping up saying, "I can't hear it!" Additionally, the current headphones are coming apart and it is not uncommon to have three or four students leave the lab with small pieces of black foam stuck to their faces, coming from the peeling headphone earpieces.
Having quality headphones will improve the computer lab experience and will improve student learning!
