This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My first grade students are enthusiastic and eager to learn. They spend their day engaged in hands-on learning experiences. My students are given opportunities to develop their social skills as well as their academic skills.

As a classroom, they work together to learn and work; however, this year it will be different.

This year, they will need all the resources from the classroom at home in order to learn. My students are a diverse group of learners who work hard, help one another, make mistakes, and encourage everyone to try their best. Now more than ever it is important to stay active, create, and play.

At school we learn through play, music, partnerships, groups, literature, dance, and hands-on experiences. We have fun while learning!

My Project

We will be returning back to our school classroom after teaching and learning on Zoom for a year. The students and families are concerned, and rightly so , about the clean air in our classroom.

The air purifier will keep our students safe and healthy while learning and working in our classroom.

We will be focused and learning while breathing clean, sanitized air.

The air purifier will give students, parents, and teachers a sense of relief. Students will be able to be able to concentrate and we will be able to return to school safely.
